Who Are We?

Overeaters Anonymous is a fellowship of individuals, who through shared experience, strength and hope, are recovering from compulsive eating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. There are no dues or fees for members; we are self supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology or religious doctrine. We take no position on outside issues. Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive eating and to carry this message of recovery to those who still suffer.

The Cincinnati Intergroup represents meetings from Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont Counties in Ohio, and Kenton, Campbell and Boone Counties in Northern Kentucky.

Meeting Notes

12th Step Service Opportunity

We have a request from a new member for help getting to and from meetings, specifically from the Woodlawn area to the Sunday Night Good Sam meeting. If you would be willing to help him with a ride (including his folding wheelchair), please contact us and let us know.

If you have a passion around helping out in this area, we are looking for ideas (and a member to help coordinate the efforts) around providing more of these services. An example would be to coordinate "driving" volunteers and people looking for assistance.

If you would be interested in getting a ride, as well, please contact us and let us know. With enough interest, we may be able to provide such services.
