How Many Hours Have I Squandered Filled with Resentments?

"It is plain that a life that includes deep resentment leads only to futility and unhappiness.
To the precise extent that we permit these, do we squander the hours that might have been worthwhile.

But with the alcoholic, whose hope is the maintenance and growth of a spiritual experience, this business of resentment is infinitely grave.

We found it fatal.

For when harboring such feelings, we shut ourselves off from the sunlight of the Spirit.  The insanity of alcohol returns and we drink again.  And with us, to drink is to die."

For me it is critical that I let resentments go asap. This does seem to be easier now but I am far from perfect. I do have a choice to "replay" painful situations over and over or to ask my HP to help me be willing to let them go. Today I choose the latter!! I have spent toooo long dwelling on the past and pissing on today. Life is too short and I can't afford to squander anymore time on resentments. With the help of my HP and others in this program...I choose to NAME IT, CLAIM IT AND DUMP IT!!!!!
